Bo Wright’s Cheeseburger Recovery Fund

Donation protected
I knew when we said our marriage vows to one another that this is how our fifth wedded day would go — hospital gowns and surgery waiting areas, holding hands through taped on monitors and IV lines — but that knowledge didn’t adequately prepare me for the sight of a surgical team wheeling him away from me.

(It’s not at all like Grey’s, y’all. We’ve all been lied to.)

Bo was diagnosed with colon cancer last week, on his 37th birthday. The plan is to remove all of the cancer with today’s surgery, but further treatment may still be necessary, and definitely more hospital stays. I know that he has been supernaturally covered in prayer this week, and I continue to pray for his health and healing.

When I was asked to make this thing, I balked. Asking for charity just seemed silly, because I was so sure that we’d cut it out today and be fine. But watching them take my Love away in a hospital bed that his legs practically dangle off of gripped me with a sort of fear and helplessness I’ve never known in my life.

I cant know what the future holds, and truthfully we do need the help with this. Any amount donated will assist greatly in relieving the burden of big medical bills and recovery days that he can’t work, and if you aren’t able to donate dollars, y’all can always buy the boy a cheeseburger in a week, because it’s literally all he’s asked for today.

(The Bacon King Burger from BK, to be exact.)

Thank you all for your continued prayers and support. Y’all mean the world to us both.
