My names bo and I have a passion for makeup which I would like to turn into a professional career. I love painting, and exploring colours, shapes, and textures in art, and I bring the same imagination and discipline into make-up. For me, the face is like a canvas: every look is a chance to express character, emotion, or a story. I believe it’s a form of creative expression that empowers people to tell their stories, build confidence and explore their identity .

I have had some hurdles thrown at me throughout school and in life. School was very hard for me, because i wasn’t academic and was later diagnosed with Auditory Processing Disorder, which explains why i struggled so much. I was however excited to start college to do something that i was really passionate about - makeup. But it didn’t go to plan. I became seriously ill just a few weeks after starting the course, and was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition. I was seriously ill for some time and spent a lot of time in hospital and was not well enough to get out of bed most days, which meant that I wasn’t able to continue the makeup course and had to leave. However it’s nearly two years since the diagnosis and now that I am on the right medication, I am feeling much better and stronger and ready to take on the challenge.

The tuition and certification cost is £13,000 at the Amazing Delamar Academy which covers classes, materials, and professional kits. I’m working hard to save and contribute, but I need your help to reach my goal.
