For those of you who do not know. My heart hurts to share this heart breaking story. I must say, this is very hard to write. Please understand that I am in a state of shock and overwhelmed. I do have my prayer. I can certainly feel it. It's how I believe myself, and my two sons are coping. The main focus of this long letter, my husband Michael. My heart breaks to share this news to those who do not know yet.
My husband is very sick. He has stage 4 Gleoblastoma. It is brain cancer. We found out this information on March 1st, 2019. We thought he was having a stroke, went in an ambulance to Hoag Memorial Newport Beach. Fast forward - He began having seizes due to the pressure on his brain. He is now completely paralyzed with only his right arm. He has diabetes (onset from Steroids 3 times per day). He has developed a blood clot in his right lung. We have been in the hospital on and off from 3/1/19 to present. He has had radiation and chemo. He is now in a nursing home in Huntington Beach. I nursed him at home. for two months as we watched his body fail him, day by day. Weakening him to the point it was unmanageable for me to do.
BUT... I kept going... Adrenaline and fear and the Lord pushed me thru... Our two children are both still in collage and are here to help for the summer, but they must return in the fall. There is nothing worse then seeing your father or parent in such an unbelievable state of helplessness... We simply are overwhelmed with his rapid decline... We are reaching out now for help... We will be trying to bring him home from the nursing home... but Hospice only provides so much and the rest is out of pocket. I am grateful for what I have been offered... I am feeling the pitch coming... and we need help. Medical bills, in home care, medications, bills, school. Michael care in every way. I really don't know day by day.
I just know I will need help. I am no longer working thru July thru FMLA, no pay... but insurance policy and bills continue to come in... Life does go on... MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS... Please help us. Never did I think I would be asking but I am in a position I feel is time to answer you... and say yes... I do need help... I do, and except your help... Go Fund Me... was the resource I thought would be best to help me and my two children and my husband, Michael with our financial needs. I really don't know how to thank you, each and every one of you in advance, of any donation at all to help my family through this most difficult time of our life. I am asking for $75,000 to help...
