Hi there! My name is Zuzu Farrington, and I'm a Film & TV Production Major at Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. Pre-production is currently in the works for my newest short film, MONSTER, and I need your help to fundraise!

The Logline:

A teenage boy struggling with grief tries to find peace following a tragedy for which it seems everyone believes he’s to blame.

Behind the Story:

MONSTER reveals the way that, when guilt and anxiety fester, they can distort our perceptions of reality. It's a story about the distress and conflicts that manifest from the more negative emotions that bubble within. The underlying experiences within this film are things that I, and I'm sure many others, strongly relate to. I'm excited to be able to portray this narrative of the human condition through a somewhat surrealist lens.

When Will Production Begin?

We've got less than a month left until production! We will be shooting within the LA area July 15th and 16th.

Why We Need Your Help:

Making a film is expensive! Equipment rentals, filming permits, and food for the cast/crew are just a few necessary expenses. In order to possess the proper means of bringing this vision to life, a lot of money will need to get poured into this project. With this being a student film, the only way to generate funds is from the kind donations of others. Anything helps!
