Help Diego fight Cancer

We are reaching out with love and hope for Diego Mendez, who is an 18-year-old young man with a bright future ahead. He is a dedicated soccer player, full of dreams and determination, who is now facing one of the biggest challenges of his life.

Recently, Diego was diagnosed with two brain tumors, located in the frontal and posterior areas. He has already undergone a brain biopsy and a shunt placement valve to help relieve the pressure in his brain, as he was also having complications with his eyesight. As Diego prepares for surgery and more testing, we ask for your support for our family. There are still uncertainties as Diego is now undergoing Chemotherapy to shrink the tumors.

Diego's parents, Jose Mendez (Father) and Paula Bedoya Mendez (Mother), have been generous members of their community in Coral Springs. Jose has been volunteering as a soccer coach for many years for the City of Coral Springs. In addition, Jose also dedicated himself to serve for our country in the U.S. Army services. Over the years, they have given endlessly their time, love, and resources. At such a young age, no one should have to face this battle, but Diego has shown incredible strength & courage through every step. Now, more than ever, he needs our support of family, friends, and our community to help him through treatments and recovery through this long road ahead.
