2020. Yikes.
Sadly, the cancellation of many of our events, both big and small - such as our much loved Winter Magic Market, Whole School Sports Day and the Plant & Produce Markets has resulted in the loss of experiences that not only strengthen our community but also contribute vital funds to support our childrens’ education and wellbeing.
Our community needs your support!
Thanks to our inventive and wonderful Music and HPE teachers, Jack and Tom, in collaboration with student leaders, the 2020 Whole School Sports Day has become a 3 day virtual event, incorporating sport, music and fundraising!
It is the 2020 BNWPS IsOlympics! Friday 11th Sept - Sunday 13th Sept
On Friday 11th September an online action-packed day of sports & music fun will be broadcast live through the BNWPS Radio. Can a basketball be bounced non-stop for 5 hours? Can anyone beat PE Teacher Tom and the House Captains?
On Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th, the Games will conclude with a WALKATHON-come-SCAVENGER HUNT, continuing the active theme and raising some much needed funds for our school.
Participating BNWPS kids and their families pledge to walk/run/scoot/ride/skip their chosen route across the weekend of Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September all in adherence with the current DHHS Coronavirus (COVID19) Stage 4 restrictions (details at http://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au ) . Due to the restrictions, our community has 1 power hour per day to fulfil their pledges!
So, let’s together Bring some Spring into our Steps!
