Help Buffalo Protester Knocked Down by Police

This fund is to help cover medical costs for the 75-year-old protestor injured at a peaceful protest against gun violence in Buffalo, New York. On June 4th, the gentleman was violently pushed to the ground by police officers in riot gear. The Buffalo police commissioner has since suspended the officers and ordered an investigation.
Police officers must protect and serve and not abuse the law or hurt others. No one deserves this... especially elderly members in our communities.
While the individual's name or other identifying information is not public and his privacy is respected, this fund is established to help cover medical costs. As of June 4th, he is reported to be in stable condition.
This fund is not associated in anyway with the individual. Like many others, I was appalled by this event and have consequently set up this page. It will be entirely directed to him with the intention of assisting in medical or legal expenses. All updates and notifications will be posted to this page.
While it is important for the police department to take responsibility for the actions, including financial costs of their action, this fund is intended to help ease the immediate financial costs.

I will be reaching out to both the individual and Gofundme to direct this account to him; no one will withdraw/touch this account other than the individual protester himself. All updates will be posted to this page that was setup yesterday after wanting to help the individual. There has since been another Gofundme created from Buffalo, New York.
