Public Access Defibrillator Donation

Hey! We are a group of Paramedic Students from OCHT in Stoney Creek Ontario. Since September 2013 our class has been learning everything you can imagine in regards to saving a life and preventing further injury to patients in the Pre-Hospital setting. As many people may or may not know, when it comes to Cardiac Arrest or a heart attack the most important life saving factors are CPR and defibrillation which anyone can do!

As per the Heart and Stroke Foundation, when combined with CPR, the use of an AED may increase the likelihood of survival by 75% or more! This is a huge advantage to yourself or your loved ones if they happen to suffer a cardiac arrest and you are in a place with a Public Access Defibrillator. 

We are getting ready to graduate and will soon be on the road responding to any and all emergencies as they happen, but first, we want to make a difference in a local community that has helped our class in many different ways. Our class is looking to raise just enough money to donate a single Public Access Defibrillator & cabinet in which the AED is mounted on the wall so when someone is in need it's there, ready to be used, to save that persons life!
