As most of you know I lived in Lahaina for almost 20 years. My heart is broken by the devastation caused by current events. We all struggled though the pandemic together although Hawaii was hit especially hard. A lot of businesses and people left the island forever during that time. Those that stayed and continued the fight had everything finally start to get back to normal, then this happens. Homeless, jobless and living life with literally just the shirt on their backs. I currently live in Northern California, a place with a community oh too familiar with the displacement and devastation that fires can cause. I’m sure so many of you have fond memories of Maui and Lahaina. This is a way to give back to the people that helped make those memories happen. The bartender, server, excursion companies, captains, dive instructors, boat crew, hotel staff, store owners, artists, musicians, and all the other ambassadors of Aloha that make Lahaina such a special place. The fire has destroyed businesses, homes and lives across the island. I’m using this platform to raise money to send to people who have had everything taken from them. People keep asking me how they can help so I started this. I will be sending 100% of all proceeds to families and individuals affected by the fires. Mahalo for all of your help.
