Help My Dad walk again!

My name is Gabriella and I am raising funds for my amazing father, George. Last August my father suffered multiple strokes, as well as a traumatic brain injury. During a long road to recovery, he has since healed tremendously from all that he went through. He still has his goofy personality and clever mind. But this year hasn't been an easy one. Even though he has mobility in all of his limbs, insurance issues left him bedridden in the hospital for months, and when he finally got to go to a rehabilitation facility to regain strength and his physical independence the chance was taken from him as our insurance cut him off. That was in March of 2023, and since then he and my family have waited for Social Security to approve his disability and fund his physical therapy. It's been 9 months since we filed the claim and still, no response. He has been bedridden for 6 months, unable to even stand on his own, and with no physical therapy. His doctors are extremely confident that once he receives the physical therapy he needs he will be able to make a full physical recovery and walk again, he just needs to build up his strength and retrain his brain to control his limbs.

September 7th is my father's 59th birthday, he was 57 when he had his strokes. It has been a long road and he is so eager to get better, to walk again, to live again. He is still young and full of life that has been taken from him by his physical disability and by a system that doesn't care whether he gets to live that life again or not. This GoFundMe would pay for 5 days of physical and occupational therapy a week for 6 months, and help a great man live life again.
