As many of you now know, Ruth has recently been given a diagnosis of lung cancer. So, we're hoping to raise funds which will go directly to Devon Dog Behaviour Rehab & Rehome to try and reduce the financial pressure of running the rescue, while Ruth undergoes treatment involving chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

For those of you that don't already know, Ruth is the heart and soul of DDBR&R. She's a strong, fiesty, independant, tough lady who has already survived sepsis, so we have no doubt she can do it again.
Ruth has run DDBR&R since 2010 with the express purpose of taking and rehabiliting the dogs no one else will. During the last 13 years she has saved countless dogs lives, who would otherwise have been euthanised. Ensuring their training is complete before finding them new loving homes, or adding them to her pack if homing is not an option. Ruth has also spent years as an expert witness fighting for dogs' lives in court and she has not lost one yet, so we don't expect she will lose this fight either.
So, we believe it is now time for us to do something for her, so she can really focus on her treatment and getting well again. If every one of DDBR&R 's 4.5k followers donates just a single pound then that will give her breathing space to concentrate on herself for once.
