my name is Amy, I am reaching out in hopes that some of you may be able to help. As embarrassed as I am we have no other option other then to ask for help, two years ago Barrett entered our lives like a whirlwind and since then life has never been the same, Barrett was born in the middle of a pandemic with 3 other siblings waiting for him at home after a week long stay in the NICU he came home we realized a couple months later that he was not developing the way typical babies do he was severely delayed and struggled with daily things. At 5 months old we discovered that Barrett was missing his corpus callosum which is the connecting piece of the two hemispheres of the brain, fast forward two years and he is doing good but he has significant neurological disorder that is causing him tremendous developmental delays. Because of this he is in therapy three days a week and has many doctors appointments hours away, we hit hard times with being a one income family because I take the 3 big kids to and from school and Barry to all his therapy and he depends on me, well with Covid last year and rob not working as much as usual and then things just getting backed up, we got behind on our van payments which I need this vehicle to take all the kids where they need to go . They came last night and repossessed it, I’m embarrassed to say the least and hate that I have to ask but we need help the loan company won’t work with us to get it back unless we pay the amount we owe. Any little bit helps us get it back and gets Barry back to his therapy. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, all your support means so much.
