About two and a half months ago, on June 10th, 2023, my son had an unfortunate accident while riding his electric bike. On that day he was not wearing the proper safety gear; He suffered a severe concussion that caused him a brain injury, including other bone fractures.

He received medical treatment which included removing part of the skull.

Afterward, doctors reattached part of the skull that was removed, however after ten days he had to be admitted back into the hospital to have the same part of the skull removed, due to an infection that was spreading in his bloodstream.

My son is awaiting to go back to the hospital in October, for reconstructive surgery for a new skull.

Currently, he's receiving medical treatment to alleviate the infection.
