Medical bills assistance

I am not one who ask for help and does everything in my power to take care of my responsibilities. This has been a difficult year with many diagnoses and surgeries. The one diagnosis that I have not been fully able to share is my fight with breast cancer. My family and close friends knew my struggle and helped me through making the decision needed to prolong my life, my sanity and most importantly my peace of mind. In 2020 I was diagnosed with the rare cancer gene brip1, not knowing that that diagnosis would only be the beginning. The beginning of 2021 I had many different health issues from Gastro and stomach issues to rheumatoid arthritis to finding lumps in both breast. Many saw my smile but never knew the pain behind the smile.

I am now at the stage where on December 6 I will be having my double mastectomy with the hopes and prayers that all the cancer will be removed and I don’t have to have any chemo or radiation. This has been a long road with me contracting Covid 19 when I was supposed to have my surgery in September, to then my insurance company severing ties with the hospital that I have all of my doctors at. At this time they have finally approved my surgery after weeks of fighting. The out of pocket cost to include post surgery items and visits is approximately $20,000.

I am asking for your help monetarily and if not possible your prayers and words of encouragement are welcomed. The road to recovery will be long and hard and I am mentally prepared for it!! Thank you in advance for your help and I will keep everyone updated on recovery and if any setbacks.
