Hi all,
Malcolm and Tyiesha Cade lost all of their possessions in a tragic accident that burned their home to the ground yesterday. The Southern California Mountains Foundation is raising funds to get them back on their feet. Malcolm has been part of SCMF's Urban Conservation Corps family for the past decade, and worked his way up the ranks to be a site Manager of our Indio Facility. He spends his time serving the community, being an inspiration and role model for the young people coming up behind him. During this time of need, I ask that our community come together and financially support them to get their basic needs met.
Any amount you can spare to help get through this devastation will be incredibly appreciated. They do not have insurance and will need all the support we can provide to stabilize their family and get back on steady ground. Monies raised through this campaign will be used for basic essentials, including food, gas, diapers, and hotel costs, as well as a replacement of their possessions and other items that will allow them to rebuild a livelihood.
To have less financial stress at this difficult time will make an enormous difference, even if it's just a little.
Thank you!
