Medical expenses

Hi there!!

I am starting this GoFundMe for my dad. For those of you who don’t know he has been sick for some time now. He has been through some tough times.

Last year his doctor told him he as just getting old. Christmas Eve of 2022 dad was in the hospital unsure of what was going on. There they FINALLY got some answers. Since then, it has been a crazy up and down, scary, and tough few months. Dad has been diagnosed with Amyloidosis. (Abnormal plasma cell like a cancer

20-30% is what dad had, it should be 2%

Light chains are screwed up and produces amaloid which attacks organs - most common are heart and kidney) The treatment for this disease is Chemo and a transplant of stem cells. Dad has been in chemo for some months now and is coming up on his transplant. He recently found out that he cannot be further than 45 mins from the hospital where the transplant will take place. He is going to need a place to stay until he has been officially released.

Those who know my dad know how proud of a man he is. He doesn’t like to ask for help. He always felt other people needed it before him. Now it’s his turn. Please help dad be able to pay off medical bills and find a place to stay while he recovers from his transplant.
