The BMP Family Foundation will assist orphans and is a tribute to Bhikhubhai Patel, who grew up as a child without parents. To launch this foundation, the family donated $25,000.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bhikhubhai Maganlal Patel (Gaam: Chanvai Valsad). Bhikhubhai was born in Chanvai Valsad, India on January 22, 1943 and at the age of 75 departed his soul on June 5, 2017, in Southlake, TX, in comfort survived by his wife Shardaben Patel (gaam Binvada), 2 sons - Sanjay & Nayna (daughter-in-law) Patel (Irving, TX), Mehul & Vaishali (daughter-in-law) Patel (Southlake, TX) and 5 daughters - Rakshaben Rameshbhai Patel (gaam Valsad / residing in Irving, TX), Arunaben Zaverbhai Patel (gaam Khajurdi / residing in Valsad, India), Ritaben Rakeshbhai Patel (gaam Navsari / residing in Kilgore, TX), Varshaben Dharmeshbhai Patel (gaam Vandervela / residing Longview, TX), Dipaben Hiteshbhai Patel (gaam Surat / residing in Irving, TX), and 15 grandchildren.
