BMHS Uniform Fundraiser
Donation protected
Hi! We are Rob and Jenn Miller. In 2015, we unexpectedly lost our 12 year old son, Robby Miller, in a hiking accident. Robby loved playing his French horn in the band at Glassford Middle School. He was looking forward to when he could join the Bradshaw High School Marching Band. Over the past few years we have been trying to find a way to honor his memory. Recently we were made aware that the marching band is in desperate need of new uniforms for the 2023-2024 school year. The band has grown over the years and by next year they will not have enough uniforms to dress the number of members they will have. The current uniforms are over 20 years old and were used when the band purchased them, so they are unable to just order more that would match. We have decided to help the band raise the funds needed for this purchase in honor of our son, Robby. When the uniforms arrive we plan to place a small patch inside the jackets with his name, graduation year, and an image of a French horn (his instrument). This way he will be playing with the band every time they are worn. We need to raise at least $32,000 to allow us to purchase 125 new uniform jackets and gauntlets (gauntlets are fancy cuffs for the sleeves of the jacket). There are 3 levels of sponsorship available if you are a business, so let us know if you are interested, but we would be very appreciative of any donation you may be able to make. The Bradshaw Mountain Performing Bears PTO is a 501(c)3 organization, so all donations are tax deductible. If you have any questions or need further information, please let us know. On behalf of the students, parents, band staff, and our son, Robby Miller, we thank you for your consideration and assistance.
