Stand with Diana in Her Time of Need
Donation protected
Diana went to the ER for what she said was the worst headache she had ever had in her life. Ultimately, she was admitted and diagnosed with bacterial meningitis. She ended up staying in the hospital for 13 days in order to complete the intravenous antibiotics.
At first, the doctors weren’t sure what kind of meningitis it was, so they gave her four antibiotics, an antiviral, and steroids. She also got a spinal tap, CT scan, MRI, and chest X-rays. After several days in, Diana could no longer maintain an IV, so they added a midline IV catheter.
Initially, Diana was unaware of how dangerous this diagnosis is. She was told a number of times by nearly every medical professional how lucky she was that she came in when she did.
To add to the story, Diana lost her job just days before this occurred. She has not had any income for about a month, other than a handful of sessions for her private practice.
Diana got home on Sunday, March 30. Since then, she has been taking it easy and getting better and stronger every day. She's actively job searching in between all the resting :) Another nit of good luck is that David did not get sick and he is doing well, too! He and Jack SURE missed Diana while she was gone for so many days!
We’re hoping you can help with medical bills.
