Help Heather and Family Keep Their Home

I knew life was gonna be hard after my parents passed but it’s getting harder than I ever expected.

It started in 2021 with my dad passing and then my mom passed in 2022. It has been very difficult for us. I’ve dealt with going through probate for my mom’s estate. Moved to a place that was more expensive than we were prepared for. Then I broke my ankle, which was a nightmare . The ankle left me unable to work and it also made my anxiety and depression much worse. I’ve applied for disability but that takes a while to go through.

In the meantime, Heather is the only one working and there just isn’t enough money to pay all the bills. I’ve eliminated all the nonessential items and stopped paying credit cards but still not enough.

Our savings has been depleted and we are currently 1-1/2 months behind on rent. I just don’t know what to do. Rent is only $1050 a month and it’s sad that one paycheck isn’t enough to cover that.

We are getting scared that we might not have a place to live after April.

Update: Heather and I are learning that we have so many amazing and caring people in our lives. Thank you to those of you have supported us; we are eternally grateful. .
