Hey my name's Rory Mckercher
I'm 33 years old and have recently had a major accident on a motocross bike, which has resulted in me being completely paralyzed from T6 down which is roughly mid-chest.
I've always loved the sport and have sponsored many riders on a national level and ran events for nonprofits over the years, I could never imagine myself not being a part of the motorbike community.
I own a small plumbing business and have a wife and a 3-year-old son.
Although I'm being very optimistic and am hoping to walk again, there is less than 5% of that happening with the extent of my injury. A friend of mine has been nice enough to put on this fundraiser, If I'm to make a good recovery I will plan to donate the funding to a charity.
If I do find myself in a situation where I haven't improved this money will go towards further rehabilitation & equipment to spend time with my family & any future medical advances that might give me a chance to live a normal life.
