Jadyn Sage (2007-2023)

On Sunday October 1, 2023 Jadyn arrived at the rugby pitch to play with her Aurora Barbarians U16 teammates just like she’d done so many times over the last 3 years. Jadyn loved the sport of rugby, as much as she loved her family and friends. This would be Jadyn’s last time on the pitch as Jadyn passed away the next morning. This tragic and sudden loss has left her family and rugby community devastated.

Jadyn was a fun loving and dependable friend and teammate, a devoted sister and daughter, and at the age of just 16 was one of the most headstrong young women I know. She stood up for what she believed in and made herself and everyone around her better for it.

We have personally known Jadyn, her Dad Craig, and big sister Tristian for many years - they became friends and family through rugby. If collectively we can help ease the financial burden of planning their daughter/sister’s funeral then we will do whatever it takes to help. We are looking to raise funds that will go directly to the family for funeral costs.

Craig and Tristian are aware of this campaign and are grateful to everyone for sending their condolences. If you are able to help us to ease some of their pressure through a donation so they can focus on healing, that would be so appreciated.
