Hi, my name is Nicole. I am raising funds for Blythe Tai-Arthur. Blythe is a single mom, with four young sons, Kohdy (12 years old), Kayzn (4 years old), Kaleb (3 years old), and Keanu (1-year-old).
Blythe had her gallbladder removed July 21, 2021, and what the doctors thought was a gallstone, turned out to be a tumor. A week later, Blythe was diagnosed with stage 3 gallbladder cancer, a very unpredictable, rare, and highly aggressive type of cancer. Immediately after that, a body scan was taken, where cancer cells were found on part of her liver, closest to where the gallbladder lay. Castle surgeons decided to do liver recession surgery with robotic assistance to remove the cancerous cells. Her oncologist decided to start chemotherapy treatment in hopes of eliminating any remaining cancer cells.
Within two months of treatment, another body scan was done and at that appointment, it was revealed that cancer spread throughout her abdomen. Doctors then decided to do a more aggressive chemotherapy treatment.
A few months later, after another body scan was conducted, it was revealed that cancer spread across her liver, causing liver failure. Doctors have given her three months to live.
Before her diagnosis, Blythe was a full-time mother, who enjoyed going on beach adventures with her boys. She was also career-driven and enjoyed her career as a Target Executive.
I've always known Blythe to be a go-getter, she makes friends wherever she goes, she is someone you can confide in and is always there for you when you need help or advice. Blythe is the life of the party, always singing, dancing, and making everyone laugh.
I am sharing Blythe's story because she needs your help and support through these tough times. The money raised will help pay for medical expenses, legal fees, funeral costs and to start a family trust for her children. Your generosity will allow Blythe to spend her final days creating lasting memories with her boys, rather than being overwhelmed with financial worries.
