Blyth2Blyth cycle challenge for Macmillan Cancer Support

Hi my names lee.
I personally wanted to do something in memory of my late dad who sadly passed away almost three years ago, My dad was born and bred in the north east and regularly went to blyth (Northumberland) for his fish and chips. I now live in blyth (nottinghamshire) this is where the idea and connection came from. I mentioned this idea to a group of good friends who jumped at the chance to join in and take part for there own reasons, so here we are.
Our aim is to raise as much money and awareness as possible by covering the distance over 3days (est 166 miles) with two stop overs (self funded) Remember we are not cyclists so this will certainly be a challenge. We will set off on the morning of Thursday 12th of June on a journey in vehicles from blyth (notts)to the beach in bylth (north) where we will prepare and begin for the first leg of our challenge to Darlington where we aim to have a well deserved rest overnight. Our second leg, the following morning will take us to Harrogate, again we will rest overnight for the final leg (Saturday morning) back to our village of blyth to the Red hart pub. Hopefully in one piece where we hope to be met by all our friends/family and supporters no doubt with tired legs but smiles on our faces. If you want to join us in making a difference? We areraising money in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.
