If you’re here as a friend of mine, you know me. But if not, my name is Cera. I’ve been in glasses since the dawn of time (first grade) and, as it turns out, I’m legally blind. While I’m pretty content living in contacts for the rest of eternity, I have been trying really hard to shift out of the fitness industry and into a job in law enforcement, specifically criminal investigations with a federal agency. Wild, I know. I am currently in the application process for a job I really want, and I’ve scored really well on all of their testing. However, because I’m legally blind, I won’t pass their vision test. My only option to still be qualified is to get lasik, and I’ll be damned if the thing that holds me back from this opportunity is my vision.

SO! I’m getting lasik. A very expensive surgery that will allow me to wake up with clear vision and get this job. And I’m seeking a little help while I pay off this procedure (because who tf can throw down 5k?!) because being a self-employed small business owner does not allow for bookoo bucks and most of it goes to the IRS anyways.

I’m not asking for a lot, hell I’ll take $5 if that’s all someone can offer. If you’re willing to support the cause, I’ll be forever grateful.
