‘While wandering around the city of Milan, deep seeded grudges between longtime friends Noa and Sara rise to the surface as the two struggle to coexist as adults’

Hello! We are Adriana, Allie, Clara and Zeynep, film students from NABA and we’re beginning production for our Short Film: BLURRED!

We want to tell the story of a complicated and long lasting female friendship that is put in jeopardy by the unwillingness and impossibility of communication between the two main characters. It is a cathartic story that lingers on that feeling of ‘unsettlement’ and awareness of the relationship being unstable on the edge.

We wanted to explore the theme of grief and how alienated it can make one feel, even next to their closest friends. When the same people who should be there to pick us back up from the ground have become incompatible, we feel completely powerless.

Hii, I’m Clara, speaking as the producer, I am very excited to make a short film that we see ourselves in and will help each and everyone of us to find a place to put some of the frustration and unexpressed care we have after losing friendships, or even just let it all out.

I trust that my crew and I will make something beautiful out of this and I hope our audience will resonate with it the way we do!
