We are down but not out. Our fourth big NOTAUSGABE (emergency issue ) issue will be a celebration of this extraordinary year. The issue will feature new works from the Black & Blue 2 exhibition opening at BMCC gallery in Katoomba NSW. The issue launch will coincide with the exhibition opening on August 28, 2020.
The Blue Mountains has suffered the double whammy of fires then lockdown and as a region that relies almost exclusively on tourism, times are very tough. Your donation will help us to raise the funds to print, distribute and give away 15000 free copies of our 4th issue in what is our most difficult fundraising year yet. Well over $60000 value of creative volunteer time and assets go into each issue and any surplus funds raised over print and productions costs will be directed back to the many worthy creatives who volunteer their time and talents to the project.
We can't do it without the generosity of our many supporters. To show you how much we appreciate your vital support, we are giving those who make a donation of over $25 a listing with your name and location or website in our lavish double page "Roll of Honour" centre spread.
Copies of all Blume Illustrated issues are preserved in the NSW State and National Library of Australia for generations to come and your name will live on a someone who kept culture alive long after this extraordinary year comes to a close. Our digital issues are all also online free.
Donations of $25 - $49 will get you a 25 character listing in our wings panels.
Donations of $50 and over will give you a listing of up to 35 characters in bold, in the centre panel.
The first to book a $1000 donation will secure pride of place as our one and only JEWEL IN THE CROWN portrait. Faye Wilson will create a framed, hand drawn portrait of a pet, place, person or thing of your choice that will feature with listing in the top centre frame in our Roll of Honour. You will also receive the signed original, plus a signed A2 archival artist print of the Roll of Honour. The first 8 supporters to book and donate over $350 will receive a signed, original portrait of a pet, person, place or thing created for you by Faye Wilson and see it featured in one of our "Roll of Honour" cameo frames with listing.

Jam packed with fascinating essays, poetry, illustration and artworks by the 23 artist/ writers involved in the Black & Blue project, we are set to give you a hair raising issue exploring the dark side of the this fascinating region and lots of other inspirational and restorative stuff. The issue will also include a free, fold out catalogue of the Black & Blue exhibition for those visiting the BMCC gallery at 30 Parke Street Katoomba from August 29 - September 27, 2000.
