In 1989 Tim Burton's Batman was released in theatres. One of the most iconic scenes in that movie is the reveal of the Batmobile designed by Anton Furst, who won an Academy Award for his work on Batman . As a two year old, I was enthralled and my love for Batman has not stopped since. With the support of my wife I became Batman. My love of Batman grew into a ministry in 2013 and in 2014 I joined forces with a local charity group. With the help of other heroes, we visit St. Jude patients at Target House and Ronald McDonald House and patients at Lebonheur Children's Hospital.
I am starting this campaign to acquire a batmobile and I am asking your help to make it possible. The Bat will be used for events that benefit both of these Children's Hospitals as well as their living facilities Target House and Ronald McDonald House. If it was to appear at local Comic Conventions it will be part of our charity table and pictures will be by donation only. I must stress NO PROFIT will be made from the use of The Bat. Everything will be split down the middle going to both St. Jude and LeBonheur.
I know it seems like a lot of money, but you can't put a price on a child's smile when they see Batman, Superman, and their other favorite heroes walk through the door. I would love to see how they react when a Batmobile comes down the driveway.
If The Bat sells before the money is raised, the contributions will be split evenly between St. Jude and LeBonheur.
This campaign will last one month or more as long it is for sale. The seller, a fellow Batman, is selling because he needs the money for family purposes.
Thank you for taking the time check out this campaign and I leave you with my favorite Batman quote and the reason why I am doing this:
" It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me."- Batman Begins.
