This past few weeks contained the most challenging and heart-wrenching days we’ve experienced since opening the doors of Bluestem Brasserie almost nine years ago. Seeing our team, many who have worked with us for years, overwhelmed by the uncertainty that lies ahead amidst the COVID-19 pandemic has shaken us to our core.
We have always felt a deep pride employing hard-working, hospitable humans who have thoughtfully prepared and served countless nourishing meals to both our regular guests and visitors alike.
We have set up a GoFundMe to help our displaced team members provide for themselves and their families during these very tough times. 100% of proceeds will be distributed to our employees. While our goal of $26,000 initially feels quite substantial – for 65 people it is just $400 per person which can provide food and access to essentials for the next month. We recognize it's a difficult time for many industries, not just ours, so we truly appreciate your donations of any size ($25, $50, $100 – it all adds up).
