Support Bluesman Hal York (Nuttinbutdablues) get his transportation, some heat and get his music back

A year ago last June, we set out on our move from RI to Washington state with our two kitties in what should have been a 5 or 6 day trip, but because of breakdowns and medical emergencies with Hal (who has stage four copd and is on oxygen 24/7 )it ended up taking almost 3 weeks. Which depleted Our savings

Two days after our arrival in Washington Hal went to the ER because he wasn’t able to catch his breath while he was there, they were concerned about the aneurysm behind his left knee and rushed him into an emergency surgery because they were afraid it would burst, they cut him from his groin to his ankle for an artery bypass surgery they recovery was long and slow, and before he was even recovered from his left leg, he was admitted to the hospital for pneumonia, While he was there the aneurysm behind his right leg burst, and once again his other leg was cut open filet, he is still trying to recover from that, then to top it off Hal was diagnosed with leukemia and battling passing painful kidney stones and multiple uti’s In the year we have been here in WA. Hal has been in the hospital more than 6 times with each stay lasting several weeks.

During all we have be been plagued with one disaster after another,

Three times the car has broke down. The heater core had to be bypassed and we have no heat in the car so had to drive an already very sick Hal to dr appts in the cold ,

We’ve had to have roof repairs, porch repairs, Stove, washer AND dryer breakdowns, major plumbing and major electrical breakdowns in the house, now no heat in the house either except for a small space heater as the electrical system cannot handle more than that.

And just recently his portable oxygen generator just died and his copay on the replacement is over 1k

We have not had the funds to get the car registered and the insurance has now lapsed and it has yet again broken down with a repair bill of over 2k, which we don’t have so uber (which is costly to dr appts etc)

And all of our belongings including Hal’s Guitar, (one of the few things that brings him peace )are still in a pod that we cannot afford to have sent to us
