Since I was a junior in high school I dreamed of working in the movie industry. I didn't know what I wanted to do exactly but I knew I wanted to be part of this amazing industry.
Fast forward 11 years and I'm doing pre-production work on "Blue Jay" my directorial debut.
In my 10 years in the local Sacramento television/film industry I have had a wide range of production jobs. From running camera on the California Lottery live draw, to editing news stories at FOX 40, and working 13 hour days on movie productions for directors Deon Taylor (Chain Letter/Nite Tales) and Ryan Todd (SMOSH/Sensored) I've learned a lot. A large part of my knowledge came from producing/directing my own projects, a music web series "Free Verse Fridays", multiple professional productions for local business', and my latest project "To: Mom" a short film dedicated to mother's everywhere.
I've teamed up with my life partner, Christina Barajas, to produce this film. With the help from other super creatives in the industry such as our Director of Photography Craig Fouts, our writer Chad Meisenheimer, and our talented actors Darcie Dolce & Vince Dutye, I will direct my first scripted drama "Blue Jay".
My goal with this film is to create a great piece of art through a unique visual and audio experience. Once the film is complete we will begin film festival submissions. I intend to be a major competitor for festival awards all over the United States.
