Jalyn Black is a current senior at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a major in Business and a minor in Biology. He is also involved in many organizations on campus, including a fraternity, Student Government Association, and many other prevalent student groups that help create positive change for others, as well as the community.
Recently Jalyn was a victim of an assault on April 11th, 2015 as he was walking home from a social gathering. He is currently hospitalized in Greensboro, NC in the Intensive Care Unit. With a fractured jaw and skull, Jalyn will undergo surgery on April 14th, 2015. His condition has forced his life to take an unexpected turn as class, work, and extra-curricular activities have all been put on hold. Jalyn is a son, a brother, a student, a friend who is in need of everyone’s support. Any donations will help, and allow Jalyn and his family a small amount of relief from the financial burdens of hospital visits, travel expenses, and hotel stays. Jalyn under any circumstances has an optimistic attitude, is always taking care of loved ones, and now it is time to take care of him.
