Bluebird’s TPLO Surgery Insurance Won’t Cover

My name is Leigh and my dog Bluebird who is only going on two years old tore her cruciate ligament last month and needed TPLO surgery. I am $8000 in the hole so my dog can walk and insurance is refusing to cover the accident because in fine print the policy says they will cover accidents 3 days after the start of the policy but this specific accident instead has a 6 month waiting period.
