The employees of the Bluebird Nightclub in Bloomington,Indiana are out of work and need your help! Due to the Coronavirus we were all laid off this week. Without income living in Bloomington is an extreme struggle, the rent is high and we have bills to pay and mouths to feed.
Many of you have fond memories of seeing shows and having drinks with loved ones here, for many of us this has been a second home. Losing our jobs was devastating, but knowing that some of my work family will be left completely unprepared financially is downright scary.
The prospect of finding alternative lasting work seems slim in a town overrun with the unemployed and the impending doom of shutdowns.
When you have wanted to have a good night out we've been there to pour your drinks and solve any issues that may arise, in this time we are asking for your support in our time of need. Hopefully we will see you all again in the future, and in the meantime
please help if you can, it's always the right thing to tip your bartender.
