Blue has been undergoing heart worm treatment for the past 4 months. This week he had the hardest part of the treatment; two deep tissue injections to kill the heart worms. I came home yesterday to find him unconscious next to a pile of vomit. Unresponsive, I rushed Blue to Bluepearl ER. His vital signs were dangerously low and he was experiencing extreme anaphylactic shock from the mass death of the heart worms. He is having complications due to this rare condition that can happen with heart worm treatment. But he's a fighter, showing signs of hope.These donations will STRICTLY be used for Blue's tests and recovery within Blue Pearl Vet Hospital. I have drained everything I have to save my boy and have explored every avenue of financial aid to no avail. So any donation not only is needed immediately to get him the care he needs but is way beyond appreciated. As most who know me will attest, I do not ask for help unless it is in dire circumstances.
Blue has been my comfort and companion through the darkest times of my life. He was my number one for when my mom passed before Christmas, my savior through bullying at work, and my comfort and joy everyday when I get home. For this I will do anything to ensure his recovery.
Please know how immensely these donations mean to Blue and myself. I cannot expect anything more than kindness and understanding through this distressing time. I hope I can return any favors to the people who can help me.
