Blue Sky Cafe Save Our Servers

Hi, I'm Mark, my wife, Juli, and I have been the owners of Blue Sky Cafe for the last 21 years. On Wednesday, September 6th, a kind man was pulling out of the car wash bay behind the restaurant. His boot got wedged between the brake and gas pedal. His vehicle accelerated straight into the back wall of Blue Sky, he had to avoid hitting cars with people in them, he did the best he could, to not hurt anybody. Everyone is okay. His car accelerated to around 40 mph, the collision pushed the back wall of the restauraunt in about 8 inches. The building inspector came out and declared the building uninhabitable, as the wall holds up the I beam that supports the restaurant. We have insurance and we will repair and be open soon. However, our insurance doesn't cover hourly workers, only salaried workers. My staff is awesome, they love working at Blue Sky and they love our customers. They rely upon tip money to pay their bills. I am asking for your help to keep them able to pay their bills during this difficult time. Our customers were so kind and generous during the slow times of the Covid quarantine , now I'm asking for your help. I have had the pleasure of working with Val, Wanda, Blake, Maya, Marino and Kally for many years.
