Hi, my name is Mercy, a Canadian immigrant living in Cheshire with my chronically disabled roommate/best friend, Blue. With Blue unable to work and me having had to exit my last job back in June due to a mental breakdown that ended in self-harm, the bills are exceeding more than we can reasonably pay for.

We bought the flat that this gofundme was helping with, by covering the rent at our then current place! But, unfortunately the council has taken 740 pounds out of our accounts with no warning; whatever email they say they sent? Didn't arrive. So while next month we should be okay, as we are both now on Universal Credit, this one? Food and bills are going to be a struggle.
