If you’re receiving this, then you must be well aware of my passion project: Blue Flower.
As you know, I’ve spent the last 1.5 years shaping my real life events and feelings into a screenplay.
It is a story I am beyond passionate about and determined to tell. The universality of my film, in addition to the unique elements of Iranian culture and sound that I’ve sprinkled through out the story, is very timely and necessary.
Here's its log-line:
"Traveling through Austria, an Iranian-American woman meets and falls in love with a Pakistani-British man. Their fairytale romance, however, comes with unforeseen complications, forcing them to confront their deepest fears..."
A modern romantic drama, inspired by my own story, I present the journey of two people who together examine the concept of true connection, and our human tendency to romanticize the past and long for what we don't yet have...

Now, why this campaign?
Currently, I am aiming to make a short version of my feature, in order to paint an accurate picture of tone, mood and style for potential investors. I want it to look absolutely perfect - perfect as in in par with my vision. But in order to achieve that, you have to simply spend more.
Now, if you know me, you must also know how incredibly uncomfortable it is for me to ask for this kind of help, but I do wholeheartedly believe in the project and in the good it will do once made... and I look forward to sharing the final product with you, sometime in March, 2020.
Whatever amount you are comfortable with donating is immensely appreciated. And if you’re not in a position to help, I 1000% understand and thank you for your continuous support.
