Over the weekend, our brother in blue, Detective Kenneth D’Loughy, who has been faithfully serving in the Gun Violence Unit, experienced a serious and unexpected medical emergency. He was airlifted for urgent care, where doctors believed that they discovered a brain bleed. What was initially believed to be a brain bleed has now been identified as a mass in Kenneth’s brain.
Monday afternoon, Kenneth flew out to Atlanta to meet with a specialist. There is hope that he may be a candidate for a less invasive treatment to help reduce the size of the mass, but those options will not be confirmed until after his evaluation with the specialist.
This is an incredibly difficult time for Kenneth, his family, and his entire law enforcement family, and we are calling on our Thin Blue Line family to rally around them with love, strength, and prayer.
