In early 2022, we began research for our second documentary which will be about Sen. Wynona Lipman (1923 -1999), tentatively titled The Wynona Lipman Project: Wynona Lipman, NJ's First Black Woman Senator.

We formed our 501(c)3 Blue Butterfly Arts & Media (A NJ Nonprofit Corporation), organization in January 2022. The mission of the organization is to create, develop, advocate for and promote cultural programming including visual, performing, literary and media arts and history programs, and to provide creative opportunities for artists working in these genres. The organization will be an umbrella for all of our creative ventures including ELMART Theatre Service, Five Women Performance Ensemble and our film projects.

Please help us to raise funds for the Wynona Lipman documentary. We will be hiring camera operator(s), a sound engineer, music coordinator, film editor and a production assistant. Additionally, we'll need funds to rent venues (as needed), and equipment, travel, post-production, and to present film-related programs, i.e. rcommunity forum, panel discussions and an exhibition in celebration of Sen. Lipman's centennial in late 2023.
