This is the official fundraiser for Bloom Town to be printed as a physical book.
UPDATE 10/21/24: The printed book is still very much going to happen, but the delay is due to a curveball thrown by the print shop I was using. They were offering a significant discount because they had a lot of paper onsite that was leftover from a different project and the lovely couple who owned the shop weren’t going to charge for those boxes of paper. Unfortunately, the shop closed unexpectedly, and all of the many other shops I’ve contacted since have quoted double or even triple what the initial shop did. Not to fear—I am now looking into using an online printing service which will allow this to finally happen. While I am, as ever, totally committed to seeing this through, due to major life event type stuff I can’t predict an exact date, though early 2025 is likely the most realistic estimate. This is because each printing shop/service has different formatting requirements, and I want to make sure the version you all end up with looks as professional as possible. I appreciate your patience more than you know, and will continue to update both this page and the Discord server right up until the printed copies are available. Thank you guys!
To all of you who have supported and been excited for this story, thank you so much. You’ve humbled and thrilled me beyond words. I’m honored and shocked that there’s been such an interest in a printed copy, and I hope that together we can make it happen. You guys are the best.
**Important Disclaimer: It will likely cost more than $1,300 to print the book depending on how many people are ultimately interested in owning a copy. My hope is to send everyone who donates a copy of the book and only charge for shipping/postage, but in the likely event that I’ll have to cover some of the cost myself I may have to charge a small amount for the books. That being said, and I cannot stress this enough—I will not be profiting from this at all in any way, and if there’s any concern about it I’ll be happy to publicize the invoice from the print shop when the times comes.
