Hello my name is Kirsty and last week we got some devastating news that Travis has a mass on his spleen. We took him in on Wednesday to have an operation but his blood platelets was to low so we took more bloods and sent them off for further investigation they came back their not as low as we thought but still low but we need to operate fast to save his life but he will need to undergo a blood transfusion during surgery. Which will go a head tomorrow Friday the 17th. Now Travis is insured but as I have recently taken out a new policy with him just turning 10 years of age I am unable to to claim until the 20th but anything now is classed as pre-existing and insurable. We managed to get around 3k in total for surgery and anything needed but because he has had so many blood test and scans being back and forth before the surgery we have now had to dip into this and fall short for the blood transfusion. Anything at all would be a massive help I never thought I would be in this position to need to do something like this. Thank you for taking the time to read Travis story
