Floppy has been a fighter since the day I adopted him as a tiny kitten. He was sick, runty, and caged with two older kittens that beat him up. From the moment he reached his floofy paws through the bars to grab my hand and pull it to his face, I knew I could never leave him.
Floppy has survived remission into cancer, IBD, and now kidney issues. Through pet insurance companies ripping us off, insane vet bills, and so many vet visits I can't count, Floppy remains a fighter. The vets & techs are astounded by his tenacity and will to live. Floppy is the most empathetic animal I've ever met, and has been my best friend through some of the hardest times in my life.
A few nights ago Floppy lost the ability to walk, and test results show acute anemia. Including hospitalization fees and emergency medications I have paid over $1,400. On top of this, the vets recommend a blood transfusion or his anemia will likely worsen. The cost for this procedure is over $2,200. If you're financially able, Floppy and I would be beyond grateful for ANY amount you can contribute. So as long as Floppy fights, so will I.
