One of our friends, Hassan Shafiq father of 2, has been diagnosed with replase of T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (rare sub-variant of T-ALL), a type of blood cancer that requires immediate treatment. He was previously treated at Shifa Hospital Islamabad for the same comdition successfully with chemotherapy and Bone Marrow Transplant. After a few months of disease free interval, his cancer has come back and doctors have referred him to a medical center in China for a trial treatment where 3 adult patients have been treated successfully for this rare variant of cancer.

Unfortunately during his initial diagnosis and treatment, family exhausted all its resources as we all know the cost of cancer treatment is in millions.We are generating funds for Hassan Shafiq for his treatment in China as the family may never ask directly because of the situation they are in.

This tragedy can afflict any person, anytime and as humans we feel obligated to help him by any means possible. Zakat, Sadaqat donations, no matter how small can make a difference.
