BLM Scholarship at CSCC

The Diversity and Inclusion Committee at Columbus State Community College (CSCC) is raising funds to establish a Black Lives Matter Scholarship for our students. Our mission at CSCC is to educate and inspire, providing our students with the opportunity to achieve their goals. Our hardworking students are breaking down barriers, creating new traditions for their families, transforming our community and fueling our workforce. 

The BLM Scholarship will provide students with financial support during their educational journey at CSCC. The minimum required to establish a scholarship through the Columbus State Foundation is $5,000. Once we reach that goal, the Columbus State Foundation will establish the scholarship on their website. We hope to establish the scholarship by December 2020 so we can accept applications and disburse funds for Spring 2021 semester. Our ultimate goal is to make this an endowed scholarship (minimum required $35,000). Thank you for supporting our students and investing in their future!
