If you’ve met Blitzen, then you know how special he is. He’s the sweetest soul who only wants to make every dog and human that he meets happy.

And continuing to be one of a kind, he’s now a medical mystery. What started as a lump that appeared overnight turned into a complex medical case that even the most incredible vets are having trouble finding answers to. But they have hope for him, it just wont come without a (huge) bill.

Between multiple initial vet visits with diagnostic testing, an ER visit with a transfer to a new hospital and now day 3 in the ICU with no clear end in sight, we just hit $17,000 already spent. We’ve maxed out every card, bank account, and options we had but we’ll stop at literally nothing to save this boys life. Any help you could give him would mean the world to us. All of the money is to go towards his ongoing icu stay and recovery afterwards, none of this is to recoup any costs already spent. In the coming days, he may need surgery, a CT scan and MRI under general anesthesia as well as continuing his plasma, fluids, antibiotics, feeding tube, pain medications, and general hospital bill stays and 100% of this money will go towards that.
