Bloomington Islamic School (BLISS)

We’ve all heard the phrase “ charity begins at home,” this statement holds very true for us as Muslims. Our community school -BLISS- is in need of your help.  We are asking for YOUR help not only because  we need your help, but because we, as Muslims, are taught at an early age to provide help whenever possible and to whoever needs it.  The Prophet, sallahu alaihi wa sallam said, “Allah is helping the servant as long as the servant is helping his brother. In our current situation there are many things in the school that we are struggling with. However, the BLISS team is dedicated to keeping an excellent Islamic School open in the ICOB community.   We are currently working on the following projects: 

1. Side walk addition: to give families a safe access to the building.

2. Parking spaces: to provide a safe place off of the street for parents to park when dropping off or picking up students.

3. Foundation repair: repair the building foundation to prevent water from entering the basement. 


The estimated cost is $5,000. Please give generously and encourage others to give as well to this sadaqah jariyyah project.  May Allah reward you and make it a light for you on the day when there will be no light except Allah's Light... ameen.
