Blind Senior Olympian Career Fund

Hello, my name is Charles King.  I am a 67 year old Totally Blind Powerlifting Olympian.  I started training to be a powerlifter when I was 60 years old.
I am seeking Financial Sponsorship to assist me with continuing my pursuit of sustaining my current national ranking and unique, recognized title of "…the oldest American visual impaired powerlifter”. , , which was awarded to me at the 2015 IBSA World Games in Seoul, South Korea. 
To achieve this goal, I must attend and compete in the United States Association of Blind Athletes (USABA) which I am a lifetime member and on their powerlifting national powerlifting Championships held each year in Colorado Springs, Co during the month of July in associations with the Rocky Mountain Games.  Competing in this national competition I will maintain my National ranking as the oldest competing blind powerlifter on the USABA team and qualify to attend the IBSA powerlifting World Games competition in the designated country. 
Within my career thus far, I have also been honored as a Blind Olympic Gold Medalist by the International Blind Sports Association, IBSA.  I strive to be capable of competing nationally and internationally until I reach 80 years old, or possibly beyond.  In conjunction with my blindness, I also contend with Diabetes and Arthritic Spine Pain.  As well, I have been fortunate in surviving and conquering the battle of Prostate Cancer.  One of the main drives behind my ultimate olympian career goal is to potentially motivate other blind, visually impaired, and/or other disabled individuals to pursue their passions and their dreams no matter what.   Through my powerlifting passion, I am able to prove that age, blindness and medical challenges do not dictate my life nor do they prevent my achievements.    USA Today Blind Veteran Powerlifts his Way to World Games

In addition to 2 soon upcoming competitions, my aspirations are geared towards competing as consistently as possible.  I am desperately seeking financial support in order to afford related expenses that will allow for my coach and I to participate.  Please, won't you assist me with continuing to widen the path for myself and those disabled individuals who follow in my olympian footsteps?
