Update: Nathan popped the question and we are engaged to be married! The date is April 19th, 2025 and we are so excited, this will be Nathan's first time being married, a lifelong dream of his. He has been busy spending time with both his beautiful boys, Dominik and Damian. Nathan works out 2 hours a day and diligently follows doctors orders and takes care of his health while he patiently waits for a new kidney. He has so much to live for, like seeing the Ocean for the first time in June 2024. Nathan Krause is a young father of two young men, ages 18 and 14. He has recently been diagnosed with Rosah Syndrome, which is a newly discovered genetic disorder, which has caused blindness, end stage kidney failure, enlarged spleen, gallstones in the gall bladder, and a few other health complications. He is working towards a kidney transplant to get off of dialysis be there for his beloved sons, dear friends and new family. He has completed the hoops to qualify for the kidney transplant, such as removing his enlarged spleen, gall bladder, lifestyle changes like quitting tobacco, and he recieved a fistula and has been on dialysis for three years. This past June he passed his redetermination in Seattle where they gave him the final hurdle to cross to get his kidney transplant, which is to raise the out of pocket cost for the transplant. He’s blind and on a limited, fixed income, so we are reaching out to the kind, compassionate, and generous people within our community, town, state and country. We ask for your help in raising the $13,300 portion that his insurance will not cover for the transplant. He also must recover in Seattle after the surgery, and the estimated cost of living there for six weeks is $7,000. In total we are asking for a total of $20,300 so he may get a new kidney and continue to raise and support his family. Thank you so much, we really appreciate your love and generosity!
