Baltimore Howard’s Ungala Gala for Breast Cancer
Tax deductible
You receive an invitation to a black tie gala event, with all proceeds benefitting breast cancer research/aid. It’s such an important cause, since someone close to you has been directly affected, and you quickly buy a ticket or two. The night of the gala comes, and you’re YouTubing how to tie a bow tie, or wedging your tired feet into 4 inch heels. That tailor took in your shirt or dress too much (it was definitely that and not the daily donut habit) so now you’re going to spend the whole night sucking in your stomach while making eyes at the dessert table across the room. You forgot to get cash for the babysitter. You make sure she has Venmo and send her the $100 now in case you forget later. On your way out the door you say to your significant other, “I would pay someone to not have to go to this thing.” And you say this not because you don’t believe in/care about breast cancer research, but because, let’s be honest, at any given moment we’d all rather be in our sweatpants eating pizza, sitting on our couch watching Netflix.
Now, thanks to 2020...
You are cordially invited to Ryan Homes Baltimore Howard’s Ungala Gala. Take that babysitter money, that new dress money, new suit money, fresh manicure money, late night Taco Bell run money…and put it towards this fundraiser. But maybe still go to Taco Bell.
All funds raised will benefit The Pink Fund. The Pink Fund provides financial support to help meet basic needs, decrease stress levels, and allow breast cancer patients in active treatment to focus on healing while improving survivorship outcomes. Their 90-day grant program allows The Pink Fund to meet patients critical expenses for housing, transportation, utilities, and insurance.
This organization means more than ever, with 2020 making patients finances even more unstable than before.
Ryan Homes parent company NVR will be doubling our donation, which means your donation will go even further than ever!
